A couple of weekends ago, one of my high school friends, Michelle, got married to her college sweetheart. It’s hard to believe that our high school days are long gone and we are all getting married. As a guest I did what I could to capture the joy of the day. Even though I shouldn’t have been poking my head behind a lens so frequently during the wedding, I couldn’t help it! While I didn’t always get the most ideal perspective since I was just there as a friend and guest, it is easy to see how much this family loves one another. Michelle and Andrew got married in our hometown of Falmouth – located on beautiful Cape Cod. Thier ceremony was at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish and was followed by a beautiful reception nearby the beach at The Seacrest Beach Hotel. As silly as it sounds, one of the highlights for me was the cake. It brought me back to my own wedding – they are friends with the same baker that made my wedding cake, Lisa of Delicious Desserts, with the same amazing vanilla with raspberry creme on the inside. Good choice! She even came to the wedding as a guest and can be seen in one of the images below during the cake cutting.
Overall the wedding was gorgeous and fabulous. The rain held off (whew!) and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Wishing my friends the best in their future together!
